Year 11-12 High Performance Mentoring

Service Description

We, Future Leaders is excited to offer the Year 11-12 High Performance Mentoring workshop during the April school holidays, at our Sutherland Shire campus in KIRRAWEE. This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for Stage 6 students to explore their beliefs, sense of self, goals, and mindsets in order to reach their potential within and beyond their strengths! This is relevant for but not limited to students who love and/or excel in sports, music and/or academia. The program was designed by our founder Darian Brooker, an award-winning keynote speaker and educator who specialises in resilience, grit and leadership. The small group setting of 6 students means that children will have plenty of 1:1 support time in an environment that also allows them to connect with like-minded peers. This program is designed to assist students to better leverage their existing strategies to maximise their potential in their chosen field. Students will: - set goals to achieve within the session and beyond - create a plan of action with support from our mentors - learn how to beat procrastination and improve motivation - master the the art of studying, tackling assignments and staying organised - know how to best prepare for and tackle exams to maximise marks - learn how to juggle school with personal life - set realistic goals and know how to manage their stress levels - understand the power of their own mindset and how to use it to their advantage Students will come out the other side feeling confident, motivated, and empowered to tackle their HSC years and beyond. Students can take home additional resources for them to explore in their own time.
