Year 3-6 Public Speaking

Service Description

We, Future Leaders is proud to offer a "Year 3-6 Public Speaking" workshop during the April school holidays at our Sutherland Shire campus in KIRRAWEE. This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for Stage 2 and 3 students to build upon their English and speaking skills in a fun, supportive and engaging environment. The program is designed in accordance with the NSW curriculum and delivered by an experienced tutor. The small group setting of 8 students means that children will have plenty of 1:1 support time in an environment that also allows them to build confidence and social skills. This program is designed to nurture, encourage and strengthen students' writing and speaking skills needed for success in stage 2 and 3 public speaking. Students will: - learn the factors that contribute to a great speech - have the opportunity to plan, construct and present their own work - receive encouraging and useful feedback on their presentations - practise impromptu speaking in response to different prompts - build confidence in themselves and in front of an audience!
